It was a dream team in the making when our friend Pepe Herrera met Rina Ortiz (the CEO of Biyaya Animal Care and Sanctuary) to shoot for a podcast episode. They exchanged stories about animal welfare and toured around the whole Biyaya clinic.

Pepe discovered that the place also served as a shelter for rescued dogs and cats— and that they also managed several animal shelters and sanctuaries in different provinces across the country.

Nearest his home, Pepe became a regular visitor to the Biyaya Animal Shelter in Cainta and noticed the increasing number of animals arriving. The most recent one he met was a skinny Husky found all alone and roaming around BGC.

The shelter’s door is always open, and they seem to welcome any furry friend in need of shelter and care.

Pepe decided to help Biyaya raise funds and blessings for this humble sanctuary— as they are also a big blessing to many animals and animal lovers alike.

We were invited to visit the Biyaya Animal Sanctuary in Cainta last week where Pepe introduced us to his special furry friends and we're happy to have played with them too! We enjoyed this colorful shoot with every newfound kindred spirit <3

And just like what he did last year with selling his preloved AMUs for a cause, we are once again honored to do another round and beyond grateful to be part of this beautiful advocacy.

All proceeds from this special Biyaya para sa Biyaya Collection will be donated directly to the Biyaya Animal Sanctuary.
